Featuring Michael Genese (piano)

This piano album was an outpouring of emotion in a single take. It represents me working out my emotions about the current state of US oppression, and it’s also meant as an offering for you.

This album meant to be soothing in its repetition, reverberation, and in the general attitude of care that I was holding when I improvised it. I offer this music to you, dear listener, as a tool to face uncomfortable feelings and facts, and to come out the other side perhaps a bit calmer, more grounded, and perhaps more optimistic. This music braces us for a difficult fight to come, but one that I believe we have the power to win.
